Avant

Avant is a theme block that turns a product page into a pre-order page.

Set it up

1. Upload blocks/mb-avant.liquid and assets/mb-avant.js.
2. Make a separate product template for pre-order products, add Maisonblock Avant, and hide the theme's own buy buttons on that template.
3. On each pre-order product turn on Continue selling when out of stock.
4. Set the delivery window (for example "Mid March"), the ship date and shipping time, and optionally the date pre-orders close.

What shoppers see

• The delivery window and an estimated arrival range.
• A countdown to the close date; afterwards the block switches to "Pre-orders closed".
• A production timeline you update in the editor (one step per line, a note after a | sign).
• An edition meter, only when you set an edition size and Shopify tracks the product's inventory. Pieces left come from real stock.

Waitlist

"Remind me" uses Shopify's own customer form. Sign-ups appear in Customers, tagged preorder-waitlist and the product handle.

On the order

Each line carries "Pre-order: Yes" and the ship window. If the product has a selling plan (for deposits or pay later), Avant uses it.
